Douglas Chan, Chairman Douglas is the Chairman and a founder of eBroker since 2000. Prior to founding eBroker, he was an Executive Director at Goldman Sachs who helped to set up their Asian Equity Derivatives business in 1994. He was also a member of Goldman’s prestigious Quantitative Strategies Group founded by Fischer Black and was responsible for developing various Global Trading and Risk Management systems for Equity Derivatives. In the 80s, he was a pioneer in developing program trading system in a distributed computing environment at Bear Stearns and Salomon Brothers. He received his Master degree from New York University and Bachelor degree (as the Valedictorian) from University at Stony Brook. Nick Ng, CEO Nick is the CEO and a founder of the Company since 2000. Prior to founding eBroker, he has over 10 years of management experience in multi national corporations. He is responsible for the strategic business development and marketing of the company. He received 2 master degrees from University College, University of London. Thomas Choi, CTO Thomas has been involved in the prototype, design, implementation and support of advanced high performance trading systems for different products including fixed income and equity products for several renowned US investment banks including Salomon Brothers, Bear Stearns, Lehman Brothers, Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley. He received his Master degree from New York University and Bachelor degree from University at Stony Brook. Dennis Choy, COO Dennis has over 15 years development experience on Back Office Settlement System for financial institutions. He has Bachelor degree from University of London. Kevin Lo, CIO Kevin has been in the software industry for more than 11 years and over 7 years of experience in applying latest technology to improve finance business processes. His accomplishments in the application of technology in the financial industry includes: for HSBC CIBM, setup STP channel for Credits & Rates products trading globally through Bloomberg; developed a Risk Management System using CAPM model; developed FIX gateway to enable electronic connectivity with Bloomberg, eTrade, etc.; developed a global backoffice settlement system to handle multi-market, multi-currency settlement process. Kevin graduated from University of Michigan (Ann Arbor) with an Honors degree in Computer Engineering and further achieved an MScISM at Hong Kong University of Sciences and Technology, Business School. |
